What is the Geekvape Aegis Mini 5 Kit?

The Geekvape Aegis Mini 5 is the latest compact entry in Geekvape’s rugged Aegis mod line, built for vapers who want adjustable-wattage performance in a pocket-sized body. It pairs a 100W chipset with the Z Nano 3 sub-tank so the whole kit stays small without giving up power.

How does it work?

Power is adjustable from 5W to 100W across Smart Mode (automatic wattage matched to the installed coil) and Power Mode (manual wattage control), read out on the 0.96″ TFT display. The Z Nano 3 tank uses a push-to-refill top-fill system and accepts Geekvape’s B Series coils, with the 0.2Ω coil pre-installed for higher-wattage direct-lung vaping and the 0.4Ω spare coil suited to a slightly cooler, lower-wattage draw.

Battery life and charging

The built-in 3200mAh battery charges over USB-C at 5V/3A. Real-world runtime depends on wattage, coil resistance, and how often the device fires – a full charge is built to comfortably cover a day of typical use at moderate wattage settings, less on higher-wattage settings or with heavy use. Not published by manufacturer: an exact hours-of-use or number-of-charges figure.

How long does the battery last on a full charge?

Geekvape has not published an exact hours-of-use figure for the Aegis Mini 5, since actual runtime depends heavily on the wattage setting used, coil resistance, and how frequently the fire button is pressed. As a general guide, a 3200mAh battery run at moderate wattage on the 0.2Ω or 0.4Ω B Series coil should comfortably last a full day of typical use; pushing the device toward its 100W ceiling will drain it faster. Charge it fully via USB-C before first use.

Is it legal and compliant in the UAE?

Vaping has been legal in the UAE since April 2019. Since July 2020, certification is handled by the Ministry of Industry and Advanced Technology (MoIAT) via the Emirates Conformity Assessment Scheme (ECAS), and vape hardware and e-liquids sold in the UAE must meet UAE.S 5030:2018 (Electronic Nicotine Products). Sale, advertising, and use are governed by UAE regulations, and sale is restricted to adults 18 years and older. Always check the physical ECAS/MoIAT mark on the box. See our full Terms and Conditions and u.ae for further guidance.

How does it compare to the Geekvape Aegis Mini 2 Kit?

The Aegis Mini 5 is the newer, higher-capacity sibling to the Geekvape M100 Aegis Mini 2 Kit already on vapsshop.ae – both share a 100W chipset and a compact form factor, but the Mini 5 steps up battery capacity and adds a bundled sub-tank.

In short: the Mini 5 trades a slightly smaller screen and one IP grade for more battery capacity and a tank bundled into the box – a meaningful upgrade if a same-kit, no-extra-purchase setup matters to you.

How to use the Geekvape Aegis Mini 5 Kit

1. Charge the device fully via the included USB-C cable before first use.
2. Open the top-fill port on the Z Nano 3 tank and fill with your e-liquid of choice, avoiding the centre airflow tube.
3. Let a freshly installed coil sit filled for 5-10 minutes before firing, to fully saturate the wicking material.
4. Press the fire button five times quickly to power the device on or off; use the A-Lock switch to prevent accidental firing in a bag or pocket.
5. Select Smart Mode for automatic wattage matched to the installed coil, or switch to Power Mode to set wattage manually between 5W and 100W.
6. Adjust the top airflow ring to taste, then take slow, steady direct-lung draws.
7. Recharge via USB-C when the battery indicator on the display runs low.

Where to recycle or dispose of it in the UAE

The Aegis Mini 5’s battery is built-in and non-removable – never puncture, crush, or burn the device or attempt to remove the battery yourself. Do not dispose of the device or spent coils in general household waste. Take end-of-life devices and batteries to a designated e-waste or battery recycling point; several UAE municipalities and electronics retailers operate battery drop-off programmes. Empty any remaining e-liquid from the tank before disposal.

Pros & Cons

Geekvape Aegis Mini 5 Kit FAQ

How long does the Aegis Mini 5’s 3200mAh battery last on a full charge?
Geekvape has not published an exact hours-of-use figure. Runtime depends on the wattage setting and coil resistance in use – a full charge is built to comfortably cover a typical day of moderate-wattage vaping, less if run near the 100W ceiling.

Is the Z Nano 3 tank refillable?
Yes. The Z Nano 3 is a push-to-refill top-fill tank with a 5ml capacity, designed for regular refilling with your own e-liquid rather than being disposable.

Which coils does the Aegis Mini 5 use, and are spares included?
It uses Geekvape’s B Series coils. The kit ships with a B0.2Ω coil pre-installed (rated 50-58W) and a spare B0.4Ω coil (rated 25-35W), so you have a second coil ready once the first wears out.

What does DL mean, and is this device built for mouth-to-lung vaping?
DL stands for direct-lung, a style where vapour is inhaled straight into the lungs, similar to breathing normally. The Aegis Mini 5’s airflow and coil range are built for direct-lung draws rather than a tight mouth-to-lung style.

What does the on-screen display show?
The 0.96″ TFT colour screen shows the current wattage or temperature setting, battery level, coil resistance, and puff counter, letting you monitor the device without guesswork.

How can I verify my Geekvape Aegis Mini 5 is authentic?
Buy only from an authorised UAE retailer such as vapsshop.ae, check that the packaging carries the ECAS/MoIAT compliance mark, and inspect the build quality and included accessories against the official Geekvape listing if you have any doubts.

Why is my tank leaking, and how do I fix it?
Leaking is usually caused by an over-filled tank, a coil that was fired before it fully saturated, a loose seal after refilling, or extreme temperature changes. Refill slowly and avoid the centre tube, let a new coil sit for 5-10 minutes before firing, and make sure the tank is seated and sealed correctly after each refill.

How do I dispose of the device or a spent coil at end of life?
Never puncture, crush, or burn the device or its built-in battery. Take it to a designated e-waste or battery recycling point rather than general household waste, and empty any remaining e-liquid from the tank first.

Is the Geekvape Aegis Mini 5 legal to buy and use across the UAE?
Yes, for adults 18 and older, in every emirate. Vaping has been legal in the UAE since April 2019, hardware and e-liquids must be ECAS/MoIAT-certified to UAE.S 5030:2018, and sale and use are governed by UAE regulations. Some public spaces, including many parks and beaches, restrict vaping locally, and vaping in a vehicle with a child present is an offence.

How does the Aegis Mini 5 compare to the Aegis Mini 2?
The Mini 5 has a larger 3200mAh battery (versus 2500mAh), a wider 5-100W range, and ships with the Z Nano 3 tank included in the box, while the Mini 2 carries a slightly higher IP68 durability rating and a marginally larger 1.08″ screen.

What are the health and legal risks of vaping?
Vaping devices heat e-liquid that typically contains nicotine, an addictive chemical, and are intended strictly for adult smokers and existing adult vapers – never for non-smokers or minors. In the UAE, sale to anyone under 18 and use in restricted public areas are legal offences under UAE regulations and local municipal rules.

Can I bring this device into the UAE as a tourist?
Tourists may generally bring a personal vaping device and a reasonable amount of e-liquid into the UAE for personal use, provided it is ECAS-certified and declared at customs if asked. Quantities beyond personal use may be restricted – check current guidance at u.ae before travelling.

What’s the delivery time, and can I pay cash on delivery?
Orders within Dubai city arrive in around 2 hours between 10:00 AM and 11:00 PM, and orders to other Emirates arrive within 24 hours, both subject to traffic and courier availability. We accept Cash on Delivery UAE-wide, and card payment for Dubai deliveries.

What’s the returns policy if the device arrives faulty?
See our current Refund and Returns Policy page for the published return window and process.
