Flavour and vapor performance
Across the five resistances the UB V2 coils share a clean, forward flavour with none of the metallic edge that cheaper press-fit coils sometimes carry, and they ramp quickly. In our testing the 0.6Ω M2 is the standout for balance and the 0.2Ω M4 mesh for outright flavour density.
The reason mesh coils taste different is surface area. A round-wire coil heats along a thin filament; a mesh coil heats a flat strip with far more contact with the cotton, so more liquid vaporises per second at the same wattage and the flavour arrives all at once rather than building over a draw. That is why the 0.15Ω and 0.2Ω coils feel more intense, and why they use liquid and battery faster.
