Why Choose the OXVA VPrime 2?

Most pod kits force a choice between a tight MTL draw and a looser DTL pull. The VPrime 2’s UniTech Mesh dual-coil system and adjustable airflow let one device cover MTL, RDL, and DTL styles, and Smart Mode automatically matches the wattage to whichever pod is installed rather than making you guess a setting yourself. A 3400mAh battery and 0.98-inch colour display round it out as a device built to last a full day without needing to track puff count manually.

How long does the OXVA VPrime 2’s battery actually last?

OXVA has not published a fixed hours-per-charge or puffs-per-charge figure for the VPrime 2’s 3400mAh battery, so treat any specific runtime claim online as an estimate rather than a guarantee. Real-world battery life depends heavily on the wattage you run and how often you vape — expect noticeably shorter runtime at the top of the 60W range than at low MTL wattages.

Pros & Cons

How does the OXVA VPrime 2 compare to the original OXVA VPrime?

The VPrime 2 is the direct successor to the original OXVA VPrime, already sold at Vaps Shop AE. Both are Type-C rechargeable pod kits, but the VPrime 2 steps up the battery, adds a colour display and Smart Mode, and moves to the newer UniTech Mesh coil platform.

How to use the OXVA VPrime 2

1. Fully charge the device over USB Type-C before first use.
2. Remove the pod’s rubber bung and fill with your chosen, UAE-compliant e-liquid (max 20mg/ml nicotine), then let it sit for a few minutes to saturate the coil.
3. Insert the pod firmly into the device until it clicks into place.
4. Either let Smart Mode auto-set the wattage, or set it manually on the display to suit your pod resistance and preferred draw.
5. Adjust the airflow ring for a tighter MTL or looser DTL pull, then inhale to fire.
6. Recharge over USB Type-C when the battery indicator runs low.

Is the OXVA VPrime 2 legal in the UAE?

Vaping has been legal in the UAE since April 2019. Vaping hardware and e-liquids sold here must be certified by the Ministry of Industry and Advanced Technology (MoIAT) under the Emirates Conformity Assessment Scheme (ECAS) and meet standard UAE.S 5030:2018 for Electronic Nicotine Products. This device does not come pre-filled; any e-liquid you use in it is capped at 20mg/ml (2%) nicotine under UAE rules. UAE regulations restrict sale to adults 18 and over — see our Terms and Conditions. Always check the physical ECAS/MoIAT mark on the device and any e-liquid you pair with it.

Where to recycle the OXVA VPrime 2

Never puncture, crush, or burn the built-in lithium battery. Take the device to a dedicated e-waste or battery recycling point rather than a household bin once it’s no longer usable — check with your local Dubai Municipality or emirate’s waste-management authority for the nearest drop-off point. Empty any remaining e-liquid from the pod before recycling.

OXVA VPrime 2 Pod Vape Kit FAQ

How long does the OXVA VPrime 2’s battery last?

OXVA has not published a fixed runtime figure for the 3400mAh battery. Real-world runtime depends heavily on the wattage you run — expect shorter battery life near the top of the 60W range.

What nicotine strength e-liquid can I use?

The VPrime 2 is a device, not a pre-filled e-liquid — you choose your own e-liquid to fill the pod. Under UAE regulations, nicotine strength is capped at 20mg/ml (2%).

Is the OXVA VPrime 2 refillable?

Yes. Each VPrime pod cartridge is refillable — remove the rubber bung, fill with e-liquid, and let it sit briefly before use.

Can this device do MTL, RDL, and DTL?

Yes. The UniTech Mesh dual-coil pod system and adjustable airflow let the VPrime 2 cover a tight MTL draw, a restricted DTL (RDL) draw, and a looser DTL draw from the same device.

What does Smart Mode do?

Smart Mode automatically adjusts the output wattage to suit the pod resistance installed, so you don’t have to manually set the correct wattage yourself.

What does the display show?

The 0.98-inch colour screen shows battery level, current wattage, coil resistance, and puff count.

How can I check the OXVA VPrime 2 I bought is authentic?

Buy only from an authorised UAE retailer, keep the original packaging, and check the device and pod packaging for OXVA’s official branding and any manufacturer authenticity markings. We sell only ECAS/MoIAT-eligible, authentic OXVA stock.

How does the VPrime 2 compare to the original OXVA VPrime?

The VPrime 2 has a larger 3400mAh battery, adds a colour display and Smart Mode, and moves to the newer UniTech Mesh coil platform — see the full comparison table on the product page for the rest of the specs.

Is it legal to use the OXVA VPrime 2 across all the Emirates?

Yes, vaping devices meeting UAE.S 5030:2018 and certified through MoIAT/ECAS are legal to buy and use across the UAE for adults 18 and over, though local rules on where you can vape (such as parks and beaches) can vary by emirate and municipality.

Can tourists bring an OXVA VPrime 2 into the UAE?

Visitors can generally bring a personal vaping device and a reasonable amount of e-liquid into the UAE for personal use, provided it is ECAS-certified and declared at customs if asked.

What’s Vaps Shop AE’s delivery and returns policy?

Dubai orders typically arrive within about 2 hours (10:00 AM – 11:00 PM, traffic-dependent); other emirates within 24 hours. We accept Cash on Delivery, and card payment is accepted for Dubai deliveries. See our Delivery Terms & Conditions and Refund and Returns Policy pages for full details.

How do I dispose of the OXVA VPrime 2 when I’m done with it?

Take the device to a battery-recycling or e-waste point rather than a household bin — never puncture, crush, or burn it. Empty any remaining e-liquid from the pod first.
