Design and build

The Vinci E80 is a 113.5 × 35 × 23.6mm pod mod weighing about 103g with the pod fitted, with a 1.47in colour screen on the face, a magnetic 5ml pod on top and a Type-C port at the base. It is shaped like a scaled-down box mod rather than a pen, which is what lets it carry a 3000mAh cell without feeling bulky.

The built-in battery is the defining design choice. A sealed 3000mAh pack is the same capacity as a good single 18650, but you never buy, wrap, marry or swap it; you plug in a Type-C cable. The cost is that when the cell eventually wears out the device retires with it, which for a 120 AED kit most owners will accept. The frame is rigid, the panels are painted rather than wrapped, and the seven finishes range from plain Spray Black and Metal Gray to the two gradient options.

The pod system is where VOOPOO has put the engineering. The 0.3Ω and 0.6Ω pods are integrated-coil cartridges: the coil is built into the pod, so you replace the whole pod rather than pressing a coil into a base. Flavour and vapor performance

The Vinci E80 drives its 0.3Ω and 0.6Ω pods with the GENE.TT 2.0 chipset across a range that tops out at 80W, and the two pods split the job cleanly: the 0.6Ω gives a restricted direct-lung vape at moderate power, the 0.3Ω a full direct-lung cloud at higher power. Flavour is dense and warm on both, with the 0.3Ω the more intense of the two.

Here is why the two resistances matter. A 0.6Ω coil wants roughly 20–30W: it heats quickly, sips liquid, gives a tighter draw with the airflow half closed, and is the pod that turns a 3000mAh battery into two days of use. A 0.3Ω coil wants roughly 30–45W, moves more air and liquid, and produces the dense cloud people buy an 80W device for. Neither pod uses the full 80W; the ceiling is for the lower-resistance PnP X coils (down to 0.15Ω) that the device also supports.

In our testing the 0.6Ω at 25W is the daily setting: fruit-ice liquids stay bright, dessert liquids come through with body, and the pod wicks without a dry note. The 0.3Ω at 40W turns the same liquid into a larger, warmer cloud with a rounder flavour and a faster drain on the battery and the 5ml pod.

The GENE.TT 2.0 chipset’s Smart mode caps wattage to the fitted pod’s safe range, which prevents the burnt hit that comes from firing a fresh coil too hard; RBA mode unlocks the full range for rebuildable use. The 1.47in TFT shows wattage, battery and resistance clearly. Airflow closes to a restricted direct-lung draw but not a true mouth-to-lung one; the Vinci E80 is not the device for a cigarette-style pull.

On nicotine: the kit ships empty, so strength is whatever you fill it with, capped at 20mg/ml in the UAE. On the 0.3Ω pod, 3–6mg/ml freebase is the right pairing; the 0.6Ω at 20–25W can take a low-strength nicotine salt, but 20mg/ml salt will be harsh on either pod.

Battery and longevity

The Vinci E80 carries a 3000mAh built-in battery with Type-C fast charging, and VOOPOO does not publish a puff count or a charge time. In use, 3000mAh gives a full day on the 0.6Ω pod at 25W and most of a day on the 0.3Ω pod at 40W.

The mechanism is the same as any regulated device: the chip converts battery energy into the wattage you set, so higher wattage drains the cell in proportion. A 3000mAh pack at 25W is comfortable for a heavy user; at 40W it needs an evening charge. What the built-in format gives you is simplicity: no cell to buy, no wrap to check, and no swap. What it takes away is the option to carry a charged spare.

Charging is Type-C and the listing calls it fast charging without a figure, so we won’t quote one. Charge it overnight or during a meal, and avoid charging in a hot car (see the UAE notes).

Pod life is the running cost. Because the coil is built into the cartridge, a worn coil means a new pod rather than a new coil. There is no published replacement interval; change the pod when flavour dulls or it tastes burnt, which comes sooner on the 0.3Ω at 40W with sweet liquids than on the 0.6Ω at 25W. If you prefer replacing coils rather than pods, the PnP X pod-and-coil route is the alternative.

Two rules shape how you use the Vinci E80 in the UAE: e-liquid nicotine is capped at 20mg/ml under the MOIAT standard UAE.S 5030:2018, and nicotine products may only be sold to adults aged 18 and over under UAE regulations.

Nicotine cap. The Vinci E80 is refillable, so the cap applies to the liquid rather than the device. Every e-liquid sold legally in the UAE sits at or below the 20mg/ml limit set in MOIAT’s mandatory regulation for electronic nicotine products (UAE.S 5030:2018). For the 0.3Ω pod, 3–6mg/ml freebase is the appropriate range; the 0.6Ω at low power can take a low-strength salt.

What the pods are. The 0.3Ω and 0.6Ω cartridges in the box have the coil built in. When the coil wears, you replace the pod. VOOPOO’s spec also lists PnP X compatibility, which means you can fit a PnP X 5ml pod and press in PnP X coils from 0.15Ω to 1.0Ω; that route lets you keep the pod and replace only the coil.

Which pod to start on. Fit the 0.6Ω first at 20–25W. It’s more forgiving, uses less battery and liquid, and tells you whether you like a restricted direct-lung draw. Move to the 0.3Ω at 35–40W once you want more vapor. Let Smart mode set the starting wattage on a new pod and give it five minutes filled before the first draw.
