That shared platform is why the decision is about battery format, wattage and draw rather than flavour. Our verdict: the Drag S3 is the best all-round built-in-battery buy at 140 AED, the Drag H80S is the pick if you want a replaceable cell, and the Drag Nano 2 is the only true pocket MTL device in the line.

Drag Nano 2

The VOOPOO Drag Nano 2 is 115 AED for a 71.5 × 44 × 14.2mm pod with an 800mAh battery, 8–20W and Type-C. It is the only Drag that is a small mouth-to-lung pod rather than a pod mod, and the only one that suits nicotine salt at 20mg/ml. Our Drag Nano 2 review covers it in depth.

Drag S2

The VOOPOO Drag S2 is 140 AED for a zinc-alloy-and-leather pod mod with a 2500mAh built-in battery, 5–60W and a 5ml PnP X DTL cartridge. It is the older sealed-battery 60W Drag; the S3 replaces it at the same price with more battery and a top airflow. Our Drag S2 review covers it.

Drag S3

The VOOPOO Drag S3 is 140 AED for a 124.25 × 33 × 28mm pod mod with a 3000mAh built-in battery, 5–60W, a 5ml PnP X pod, a top airflow that closes to MTL, a 0.96in TFT with themes, Smart/RBA/Eco modes and a fingerprint touch lock. It is the most complete sealed-battery Drag and the one we’d point most buyers to.

Drag X2

The VOOPOO Drag X2 is 140 AED plus an 18650 for a zinc-alloy-and-leather pod mod at 5–80W with a PnP X DTL cartridge. It is the external-battery twin of the S2. Our Drag X2 review covers it.

Drag X3

The VOOPOO Drag X3 is 140 AED plus a cell for an 80W pod mod that takes an 18650 or a 21700, with a 5ml side-fill pod, top airflow covering MTL, RDL and DL, a 1.66in touchscreen and GENE.TT Smart/RBA/Eco modes. It is the external-battery counterpart of the S3 and the most flexible Drag on draw.

Ready-to-vape cost per watt, ranked

Ranked by the real price to start vaping (kit plus any cells at 40 AED each) divided by maximum wattage, the sealed-battery 80W Drags are cheapest per watt, the external-battery ones next, and the Drag 4 last despite its headroom.

The metric flatters the Drag 4 because 177W is more than anyone runs a PnP coil at; treat it as a tie-breaker, not a verdict. What it does show is that buying an external-battery Drag costs 40 AED more on day one than the sealed equivalent at the same sticker price.

UAE-specific notes

Two rules shape these devices in the UAE: e-liquid nicotine is capped at 20mg/ml under the MOIAT standard UAE.S 5030:2018, and nicotine products may only be sold to adults aged 18 and over under Federal Law No. 15 of 2009.

Nicotine cap. Every Drag is refillable, so the cap applies to the liquid. All e-liquid sold legally in the UAE sits at or below the 20mg/ml limit set in MOIAT’s mandatory regulation for electronic nicotine products (UAE.S 5030:2018). On the Nano 2 and the MTL settings of the S3 and X3, 10–20mg/ml salt suits; on sub-ohm PnP coils at 40W+, 3–6mg/ml freebase.

PnP vs PnP X. The H80S and X Pro use the original 4.5ml PnP pod; the S2, X2, S3, X3 use PnP X pods and coils. Both families are stocked, but they are not interchangeable.

The 2ml listings. The X Pro and S Pro pages state 2ml pods, which is the TPD-market figure; international versions ship larger PnP pods. Ask which version you’ll receive if pod size matters.

Nano 2 is the outlier. Every other Drag is a pod mod or mod for restricted or direct-lung; the Nano 2 is a 20W MTL pod, and it is the only one to pair with 20mg salt.
