VOOPOO Argus Series Compared: P1, P1S, P2, G2, 40W and Pro 2, Which One to Buy in Dubai
The VOOPOO Argus series, from VOOPOO, the Shenzhen vape hardware maker, spans the 800mAh, 20W Argus P1 pod at 120 AED to the 3000mAh, 80W Argus Pro 2 pod mod at 130 AED on vapsshop.ae, with several more models in between and newer G-series kits arriving. Unlike the Drag line, the Argus range mixes true MTL pods with restricted-lung and direct-lung devices, so the choice starts with draw style, then battery. Our verdict: the Argus G2 is the value pick at 100 AED, the Argus P2 is the best small MTL pod, and the Argus Pro 2 is the one to buy if you want Drag-class power in the Argus body.

Argus P1
The VOOPOO Argus P1 is 120 AED for an 800mAh pod with 5–20W, a 0.5–3.0Ω range and PD 15W fast charging over Type-C. It is the design-led MTL pod of the range, and the fast charge is its practical edge over the P1S. Our Argus P1 review covers it in depth.
Argus P1S
The VOOPOO Argus P1S is 110 AED for an 800mAh pod with 5–25W, a 2ml pod and 5V/2A Type-C. It is the P1 with 5W more and standard charging for 10 AED less. Our Argus P1S review covers it.
Argus P2
The VOOPOO Argus P2 is 120 AED for an 1100mAh pod with 5–30W, a 0.4–3.0Ω range and 2ml cartridges in 0.4Ω and 0.7Ω. The two cartridges give it a real MTL and a restricted-lung option in a pocket body, which makes it the best small pod in the range. Our Argus P2 review covers it.
Argus G2
The VOOPOO Argus G2 is 100 AED for a 121 × 26.4 × 15.2mm zinc-alloy-and-PC stick with a 1000mAh battery, 5–30W, a 0.4–3.0Ω range and a 3ml pod. It is the cheapest Argus and has the largest pod below the Pro 2, which makes it the value pick. Our Argus G2 review covers it.
Argus 40W
The VOOPOO Argus 40W is 145 AED for a 108 × 33 × 30mm alloy-and-leather pod mod with a 1500mAh battery, 5–40W and the GENE.AI chipset, taking either the PnP pod or the PnP MTL pod. It is the Argus that crosses into the Drag’s PnP coil ecosystem at a mid wattage. Our Argus 40W review covers it.
Argus Pro 2
The VOOPOO Argus Pro 2 is 130 AED for a zinc-alloy-and-leather pod mod with a 3000mAh built-in battery, 5–80W, a 0.1–3.0Ω range and a PnP X DTL cartridge. Ranked by battery capacity divided by price, the Argus Pro 2 is far ahead at 23.1 mAh per AED; the rest sit between 6.7 and 10.3.

The Pro 2 wins because it is a pod mod priced like a pod. The P-series pods pay for design and size, not cell; the G2 gets close to the Pro 2’s value on a per-dirham basis only because it is the cheapest kit.

UAE-specific notes
Two rules shape these devices in the UAE: e-liquid nicotine is capped at 20mg/ml under the MOIAT standard UAE.S 5030:2018, and nicotine products may only be sold to adults aged 18 and over under Federal Law No. 15 of 2009.
Nicotine cap. Every Argus is refillable, so the cap applies to the liquid. All e-liquid sold legally in the UAE sits at or below the 20mg/ml limit set in MOIAT’s mandatory regulation for electronic nicotine products (UAE.S 5030:2018). On the P1, P1S, P2 and G2, 10–20mg/ml salt suits; on the Pro 2’s PnP X DTL cartridge at 40W+, 3–6mg/ml freebase.
Age restriction. These products are for adults aged 18 and over. Federal Law No. 15 of 2009 on Tobacco Control prohibits selling tobacco and nicotine products to anyone under 18, and vapsshop.ae verifies age at checkout. Vaping is not risk-free and this guide makes no health claims about it.
Heat and storage. Keep any Argus out of a parked car in a Dubai summer, where interiors pass 60°C; thinned e-liquid seeps past the coil and lithium cells degrade. Store filled pods upright and don’t charge in a hot vehicle.

Pod families. P1/P1S, P2 and G2 each use their own cartridges; the 40W takes PnP and PnP MTL pods; the Pro 2 takes PnP X. Check which your kit uses before buying spares.

Which VOOPOO Argus is best for mouth-to-lung?
The Argus P2 at 120 AED, with 1100mAh and both a 0.7Ω MTL and a 0.4Ω restricted-lung cartridge. The P1 and P1S are pure 800mAh MTL pods, and the G2 adds a 3ml pod at 100 AED.
Which Argus has the biggest battery?
The Argus Pro 2 at 3000mAh, then the Argus 40W at 1500mAh. The P2 has 1100mAh, the G2 1000mAh, and the P1 and P1S 800mAh. Among newer models, the E40 lists 1800mAh and the G4 1650mAh.
Argus Pro 2 or Drag S3?
Both have 3000mAh, up to 80W (S3 is 60W) and PnP X pods. The Argus Pro 2 is 130 AED and direct-lung first; the Drag S3 is 140 AED with a top airflow that closes to MTL, a TFT with themes and a touch lock. Pick by whether you want an MTL option.
What is the difference between the Argus P1 and P1S?
Both are 800mAh MTL pods. The P1 (120 AED) has 5–20W and PD 15W fast charging; the P1S (110 AED) has 5–25W and standard 5V/2A charging.
Do Argus pods fit other Argus models?
Only within a family. P1/P1S, P2 and G2 each use their own cartridges; the Argus 40W takes PnP and PnP MTL pods; the Argus Pro 2 takes PnP X pods, shared with the Drag S3 and X3.
Verdict
The Argus range is really three families, so pick by draw first. For MTL, the P2 is the buy and the G2 the value pick; for direct-lung, the Pro 2 gives Drag-class power for 130 AED; and the 40W sits between them on the PnP platform. Newer G4 and P3 kits are worth a look for larger batteries once they have reviews.
