Waka Nova 12000 Review: 7 Key Specs and Price in Dubai (2026)
In this guide
Overview
This Waka Nova 12000 review covers the mid-size bar in the Waka range: 12ml of nicotine salt liquid at 18mg/ml, a mesh coil, an 850mAh Type-C battery and a 12,000-puff rating, sold in Dubai at AED 45 as a single or AED 400 for a box of ten. It is the Waka for people who want a pocketable bar rather than a 50,000-puff device, and its flavour list includes Iced Mocha, Sea Salt Lemon and Vanilla Custard Tobacco alongside the fruit.
Key takeaways:
- 18mg/ml nicotine salt, under the UAE 20mg/ml cap.
- Rated 12,000 puffs from 12ml; real-world results vary with draw length.
- Ten flavours, including Iced Mocha, Vanilla Custard Tobacco and Sea Salt Lemon.
- AED 45 single, AED 40 boxed: AED 3.33 to 3.75 per 1,000 rated puffs.
- Best for moderate vapers who want a mid-size, pocketable bar without a 50,000-puff commitment.
About this review: specs, flavours and prices come from the manufacturer and our Dubai catalogue; we have not independently measured puff counts, battery life or flavour longevity. Last updated: 29 September 2026.
Waka Nova 12000 Review: Design and Build
The Nova is a compact rounded-rectangle bar in a matte soft-touch shell with a colour band that identifies the flavour. There is no screen; a small LED strip near the base shows battery state while you draw and blinks when it needs charging. The Type-C port is on the base. The mouthpiece is a rounded duckbill and the airflow is fixed at a medium MTL draw, tighter than the Blade or Blast and closer to a pod kit.
There is no screen or liquid window, which is the main design trade-off: there is no readout of how much liquid is left. Compared with the Elf Bar 10000, the most common rival at this price, the Nova is rated for slightly more puffs (12,000 against 10,000) and is 18mg rather than 50mg. We have not tested build quality or durability ourselves; as with any disposable, buy sealed packaging with the compliance mark.
Flavours and Vapour Output
Ten flavours are listed: Iced Mocha, Vanilla Custard Tobacco, Sea Salt Lemon, Mango Peach, Grape, Watermelon, Blueberry Sour Raspberry and Menthol Plus, among others; the product page lists the full set. The names put more weight on coffee, tobacco and citrus than fruit-ice-only ranges do, but we have not independently assessed how any flavour tastes.
The mesh coil is paired with a fixed MTL airflow; there is no adjustable mode, and vapour output is set by the device design. At 18mg the nicotine strength is slightly lower than a 20mg bar and far below a 50mg one. Compared with the Elf Bar 10000 and Smooth 10000, the Nova lists fewer flavours; we have not measured flavour longevity. Our 10,000-puff disposable guide ranks the class on flavour and value.
Battery and Charging Specs
The Nova has an 850mAh Type-C battery paired with 12ml of liquid and a 12,000-puff rating. That is the same capacity as the Blast and larger than the 700mAh in the Blade. The LED strip blinks when the battery needs charging.
Rated puffs assume short draws, so real-world results vary with draw length; we have not measured puffs per charge, charging time or total puffs. Use a standard adapter and cable, and never leave it on a car dashboard in summer, as covered in our UAE heat and battery safety guide. If you would rather never charge a disposable, the non-rechargeable Tugboat Evo 4500 (50mg) or Pod Salt Go 2500 are the alternatives, at a higher cost per rated puff.
Nicotine Strength and UAE Compliance
The Waka Nova 12000 is 18mg/ml nicotine salt. That is under the UAE 20mg/ml e-liquid cap, slightly lower than a 20mg bar and well below 50mg bars, but 18mg is still a strong nicotine level, so check the compliance mark on the box. Our UAE nicotine cap explainer covers the regulation and the compliance mark to look for.
Because it sits under the cap, the Nova is one of the disposables in our range within the UAE standard strength, though it is not a device for non-users. For help matching strength to your habit, see our nicotine strength guide. Nicotine is addictive, and these products are sold only to adults aged 18 and over under UAE regulations; the UAE’s tobacco provisions are published at u.ae.
Who Should Buy the Waka Nova 12000
Buy it if you vape moderately, want a strength under the UAE cap, and care about flavour choice over flavour count. Going by the names, Iced Mocha, Vanilla Custard Tobacco and Sea Salt Lemon suit adults who want something other than fruit ice. It is also a pocketable travel bar with a Type-C port that can share a cable with your phone, and pod-kit users at 18mg will find the strength familiar.
Skip it if you want a screen and liquid readout (the Waka Blade 50000 has both), if you want 50mg, or if you are a heavy all-day vaper for whom a 50,000-puff bar is much cheaper per puff; our Waka Blade 50000 review and Waka Blast 50000 review cover those. Skip it too if you want the widest possible flavour choice, because the Elf Bar 10000 offers thirty. The WAKA brand hub lists every Waka we stock, and our best disposable vape in Dubai guide puts the Nova in context.
Value: Cost Per 1,000 Puffs and Box Pricing
For value in this Waka Nova 12000 review we use rated puffs: at AED 45 the Nova is AED 3.75 per 1,000 rated puffs. The box of ten at AED 400 makes each unit AED 40 and the figure AED 3.33 per 1,000 rated puffs. That puts it level with the box price of the Elf Bar 10000 (AED 33 a unit boxed, AED 3.30 per 1,000) and slightly behind the Smooth 10000 and ISGO Bar 10000 on a single-unit basis, both AED 40–45 for 10,000 puffs. In other words the Nova charges a small premium as a single and matches the class by the box.
The premium is for a mesh coil, 12ml of liquid rated at 12,000 puffs and the non-fruit flavour names in the range. Against the 50,000-puff class the Nova is roughly three times more expensive per rated puff, which is the price of a smaller, pocketable bar. Prices include the 100% federal excise on e-smoking products and 5% VAT. For a broader view of how the tiers stack up, see our disposable vape price guide and the puff count guide.

Waka Nova 12000 vs Elf Bar 10000
The Elf Bar is 50mg with thirty flavours and a slightly lower box price; the Nova is 18mg with ten flavours and is rated for more puffs (12,000 against 10,000). Choose the Elf Bar for strength and variety, the Nova for a strength under the cap. Our Elf Bar 10000 review has the other side.
Waka Nova 12000 vs Waka Blade 50000
Same brand, but the Blade costs AED 10 more for four times the rated puffs, a screen and a metallic shell. The Nova wins on size; the Blade wins on cost per rated puff for heavy users.
Getting the most from the Nova
Charge when the LED blinks rather than running it flat, use a standard adapter, and take short draws with a pause between them. Keep it out of direct sun and hot cars in summer.
End of life and disposal
The Nova has a lithium cell and belongs at an e-waste point, not in household rubbish. Our UAE disposal guide lists the options.

Verdict
This Waka Nova 12000 review comes down to size and strength: it is a pocketable 12,000-puff bar at 18mg, under the UAE cap, with a mesh coil, Type-C charging and ten flavours for AED 45 (AED 40 boxed). It gives up a screen and flavour count to some rivals, but for a moderate user who wants a mid-size bar it is a sensible choice. Buy the Waka Nova 12000 at Vaps Shop AE.
