Aspire Pixo Review: 7 Key Specs on the Touchscreen 30W Pod Kit (Dubai, 2026)

Overview

This Aspire Pixo review covers the flagship of the Pixo family: a 1.47-inch Full HD TFT touchscreen with selectable themes and an animated LED strip, an 1,100mAh battery, 5–30W output in Smart and Wattage modes, A/B/AB firing modes that let you choose draw activation, button firing or both, 3ml mesh pods and 2A Type-C charging, sold in Dubai for AED 120 in five colours with pods at AED 25 for two. It is the Pixo Aura’s hardware with a screen and manual control on top, and the review is about whether that is worth AED 45 more.

Key takeaways:

• A 1.47-inch Full HD touchscreen with selectable themes; wattage adjusts on screen.
• Same Pixo pods as the Aura, AED 25 for two, in 0.4 to 1.2Ω mesh.
• 1,100mAh battery with 2A Type-C charging; the screen and LED draw on it.
• A/B/AB firing modes: draw only, button only, or both.
• AED 120; best for vapers who want a screen and manual control in a compact kit.

About this review: specs, flavours and prices come from the manufacturer and our Dubai catalogue; we have not independently measured battery life, pod life or vapour output. Last updated: 29 September 2026.

Aspire Pixo Review: Design, Build and Display

The Pixo is a compact rectangular pod kit with a metal frame, a 1.47-inch Full HD touchscreen on the front, a fire button on the side, an LED strip that animates on each draw, an airflow slider and a USB-C port on the base. The 3ml pod seats magnetically at the top with a side-fill port. At around 85 grams it is a jeans-pocket device, a little taller than the Aura because of the screen.

On paper the Pixo pairs a metal frame with a 1.47-inch Full HD touchscreen that has a lock gesture, several themes and a layout showing wattage, battery percentage, resistance and puff count. The side fire button and the pod’s magnetic seat are practical touches. The LED animation can be switched off, which also saves battery. Against the Pixo Aura, the Pixo adds the screen, manual wattage, the button and the firing modes and has 200mAh less; against the Pava Horiz Ultra, the other touchscreen kit at AED 120, it has a smaller screen and a taller body.

Pods, Coils and Heating Specs

The Pixo uses the same Aspire Pixo pods as the Aura, in 0.4, 0.6, 1.0 and 1.2Ω mesh at AED 25 for two. The 1.0 and 1.2Ω pods with a nicotine salt at the closed airflow are the MTL options; the 0.4Ω pod with a low-strength freebase and the airflow open is the DL option. Manual wattage lets you adjust each pod a watt or two either side of the Smart mode recommendation. We have not measured flavour or vapour output on this kit, so treat those as unverified.

At AED 12.50 a pod the replacement cost per pod is low. Real pod life varies with resistance, wattage and nicotine strength, and we have not measured it. Our coil resistance guide explains what the 0.4 to 1.2Ω choice changes and our coil life guide covers what shortens it.

Battery Specs and Charging

The Pixo has a 1,100mAh cell with 2A Type-C charging and pass-through, and the display shows a battery percentage. Run-time depends on wattage, screen brightness and timeout, whether the LED animation is on, and how you draw; we have not measured it.

The screen and LED draw on the cell, and the 1,100mAh cell is 200mAh smaller than the Aura’s, so a heavy user should expect to charge often. Dimming the display and shortening its timeout help. If battery capacity matters more than the screen, the Aura is the better Aspire on paper. Our pod kit battery guide explains how to read mAh against wattage and screen use, and our UAE heat safety guide covers charging safely in summer.

Airflow, Power Modes and Draw Styles

The airflow slider covers DL to MTL as on the Aura, and the touchscreen adds two things the Aura lacks: a Wattage mode with 1W steps from 5 to 30W alongside the Smart mode, and the A/B/AB firing modes. A is draw activation only, B is button only, AB is both, and being able to disable the draw sensor can be useful in a windy car or a pocket. Smart mode sets wattage from the pod’s resistance.

The touchscreen menus replace the buttons found on most kits, and the lock gesture guards against accidental changes. For a vaper who wants to see and set a wattage number, the Pixo is a compact kit that offers it with a touchscreen at AED 120; for one who does not, the Aura is the same pod system for less. Our MTL vs DTL explainer covers the draw styles.

E-Liquid and Nicotine Strength for the UAE

The Pixo is a refillable device and carries no nicotine; compliance depends on the liquid. In the UAE that means e-liquid at or under the 20mg/ml cap with the ECAS/MoIAT compliance mark on the bottle. For MTL on a 1.0 or 1.2Ω pod a 10–20mg nicotine salt is the usual match; for RDL on a 0.6Ω, 6–10mg salt; for DL on a 0.4Ω at 25W, a 3–6mg freebase. Our UAE nicotine cap explainer covers the rule and our nic salt guide and freebase guide list what we stock.

The Pixo suits a vaper who starts on MTL salt and wants a screen to see what wattage does; our nicotine strength guide helps match strength to habit and draw. Nicotine is addictive, and vaping products are sold only to adults aged 18 and over under UAE regulations; the UAE’s tobacco provisions are published at u.ae.

Who Should Buy the Aspire Pixo

Buy it if you want a compact kit with a touchscreen, manual wattage, a fire button and the option to turn the draw sensor off, and you like the Pixo pod range with its four resistances and AED 12.50 price. It is a touchscreen kit at AED 120 with a DL-to-MTL range, and the A/B/AB modes are a practical extra.

Skip it if you never adjust anything, because the Pixo Aura is the same pod system with a bigger battery for AED 45 less and our Aspire Pixo Aura review covers it; or if you want the biggest touchscreen, which is the Pava Horiz Ultra; or if you want the largest battery, which is the OXVA NeXlim 2 at 2,000mAh. Our best pod kit guide covers the alternatives and the Aspire brand hub lists the full range.

Value, Running Costs and How to Buy in Dubai

In this Aspire Pixo review the price context matters: at AED 120 the Pixo is priced with the mid-range pod kits. The Pava Horiz Ultra and FreeMax Rexa Pro, the other touchscreen kits, are AED 120, the Pixo Neo AED 110, the Pixo Aura AED 75, the OXVA NeXlim 2 AED 125 and the Vaporesso Xros 4 AED 120. Pixo pods are AED 25 for two, or AED 12.50 each, so running costs depend on how quickly you use a pod, plus liquid. Our disposable vs pod vs refillable comparison runs the numbers over a year.

Comparison Table

Aspire Pixo vs Aspire Pixo Aura

Same pods, same vape. The Pixo adds the touchscreen, manual wattage, a button and A/B/AB modes for AED 45 more and 200mAh less. Tinkerers take the Pixo; everyone else the Aura.

Aspire Pixo vs Pava Horiz Ultra

Both AED 120 touchscreen kits. The Horiz has the bigger, sharper screen and 200mAh more; the Pixo has a 3ml pod, cheaper pods, a fire button and a DL option. Screen buyers take the Horiz, per our Pava Horiz Ultra review; vape buyers the Pixo.

Setting up the Pixo

Fill the pod through the side port, wait five minutes, seat it, let Smart mode set the wattage, then pick a firing mode: AB for convenience, B if you carry it loose in a pocket. Turn the LED animation off and dim the screen to save battery.

Maintenance and pod life

Wipe the contacts weekly and keep the pod above the coil ports. Our refilling guide and burnt-taste guide cover the routine.

Verdict

This Aspire Pixo review comes down to screen versus price: the Pixo is the Pixo Aura with a touchscreen, manual wattage and A/B/AB firing modes, for AED 45 more and 200mAh less battery. If you want to see and set your wattage in a compact kit with AED 12.50 pods and a DL-to-MTL range, it fits; if you would leave it in Smart mode, the Aura covers the same pods for less.
